Obtaining Service

New Customers

The links below contain important information and required forms to obtain water service with Grand Prairie Bayou Two P.W.A. 

If a meter box already exists on your property:

  • No office visit is required.

  • You will need to pay a $90.00 deposit and a $10.00 service charge (total $100.00). We can call you or email a link to make the payment.

If no meter box exists (new connection required)

  • You must visit our office between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

  • Scroll down to “Connection Fees for New Service” for prices and requirements.

  • Bring a perc test dated within the last 12 months.  

All Applicants Must Bring or Email

  • A valid driver’s license or a photo ID of all adults living in the home.

  • A Social Security number. 

  • A lease agreement (if renting)

Requirements

Under 10 Acres - Perc Test (Health Dept. signature not older than one year)

10 Acres & Over – Letter of Assurance from Health Dept.

Must have Correct 911 Address (contact Christy at 501-676-3010)

Allow 10 Working Days from date of receiving all required paperwork and payment for installation.

Requirements

The standard residential meter is ¾ inch.

The line recommended is 1" schedule 40 PVC or Pex Pipe.

Line depth must be a minimum of 12 inches; freeze line is 18 inches.

A pressure regulator is required.

An outside shut-off valve must be 3 ft. to 5 ft. from the house.

After installation is complete and water has been turned on, you must call for a line inspection. There is no charge for this service; however, we do require a 1-day notice when calling for inspection. You may schedule an inspection by calling toll free at 1-800-834-8457 or locally at 1-501-676-2887.
